Musical Futures at Lostock Hall Academy

• Three years implementing Musical Futures approaches
• In Year 8 group work is key - students develop their skills and confidence through Band Instrumental Work
• In Year 9, pupils follow the Informal Learning Model, including ‘In at the deep end’ and informal composing. They form bands and perform on stage in shows throughout the year
