As part of the informal learning model, this section encourages informal composing, and drawing on expertise to demonstrate and model composing/songwriting to students
In this project, students now move into their own compositions. Implicitly they build on what they have learned through listening and copying in earlier parts of the informal learning model. This replicates the way that popular musicians begin creating music by spontaneously basing their own ideas upon what they have learnt through listening and copying other music.
