Some advice and guidance on what resources you may consider for Musical Futures work in the classroom

A music department with limited resources should not feel that Musical Futures isn’t for them. Musical Futures first and foremost is a pedagogical approach, and many of the ideas can be implemented using instruments and resources that should be available in most school music departments.

It is clear, however, that where schools have been able to source equipment and technology that has credibility among students, it can have a positive impact on their motivation for and enjoyment of music making and learning.

See also Electrifying Music, the section on how Roland can support Musical Futures in your school and also visit the NUMU site for information on how your school can sign up.
